Your donation of tools is critical to the success of our tool lending program. Tools require a lot of care and attention, from blade replacements to oil changes, and so your donation of accessories and supplies are equally important. We gladly accept donations of new and gently used tools, tool accessories, repair/maintenance supplies, consumable project supplies, and other items that can be used in our warehouse or office.
Donations of tools are incorporated into our lending inventory whenever possible. Donations of tools that don’t fit into our inventory are either sold at ToolRush or given to other organizations that can use them. Though we add new tools to our inventory every year, our current Global Tool Inventory Catalog, a listing of all tools approved for lending, is available to view.
Donations of materials and consumable project supplies that are compatible with our inventory are distributed to our member agencies when they borrow tools. For example, donated paint tray liners are offered to member agencies when they borrow paint trays. Donations of materials incompatible with our inventory are either sold at ToolRush or given to other organizations that can use them.

A New Way to Donate Tools!
We’ve partnered with CHaRM (Center for Hard to Recycle Materials) so you can donate used tools when you drop off your recycling.
CHaRM is a drop-off facility that improves our environmental health by encouraging reuse and diverting thousands of pounds of household hazardous waste, bulky trash and other hard-to-recycle items from Metro-Atlanta landfills and water systems.
They are open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, from 9:00am to 2:00pm, by appointment only. To learn more about CHaRM or book a drop off appointment, click here.
